Got the complete walk through: here's how to switch the various bits on and off, here's the unpleasant black water hookup and the grey water dump, cable TV hookup, electric, city water, etc. "Propane and propane accessories". Kept running through my head. And now I am using the (slow) wifi at our first stop - Columbia Riverfront RV Park.

Making the land yacht feel like a water yacht as we shimmied from the wind through the night. Friday, July 15, 2011. Day 8 - Sunset Bay State Park. Tuesday July 12th 2011. This was another BIG drive so we were up early. The drive wasn't as mad as the one from central CA to the coast but big enough. The US101 is straighter which makes life easier and we made good time to Sunset Bay State Park, Coos Bay, OR. We spent the rest of the day (and the next morning) stomping on the beach :-). And watching some people use the fish cleaning table for it's intended purpose. A, S, L and M aka TFT.

Simple really, just the 6 hour drive to do but the kids are well used to it. We were going to carry on up the US 101 all the way into Washington but, the kids (and we) needed less RV time and more play time so we decided to get a spot at the originally named Sea and Sand RV Park. Geez Grandpa, why do you read me this stuff? Wednesday, July 13, 2011. TTRVE - Day 7, 8 and 9. The trip odometer rolls at 1000. Our total trip length thus far is over 1200 miles. Gas pumps shut off at $100, typically resulting in a re-swipe of the credit card to finish the fill up. I don't even want to add up all of the gas receipts. We spent two good nights at the View Crest RV Park. The middle day we took a short drive to Dry Lagoon, part of the Humboldt Lagoons State Park. Location: Depoe Bay, OR, USA.
