Ewelina and I have been in Quito for a few days now, taking it easy, getting used to the altitude and trying to catch up on our digital chores; going through her photos from Cuba, writing and translating blog posts. and discovering that the internet here is too unreliable for us to easily update our photo album, or hang out on Facebook. Tułając się po Amerykach. Niedziela, 28 lutego 2010. Lodowiec Papież Pius XI. Po Puerto Eden po raz pierwszy zboczyliśmy z trasy, udając się w stronę lodowca Papież Pius XI. W trakcie podróży mogliśmy podziwiać niesamowity krajobraz: języki innego lodowca widoczne na górach wokół nas, foki i lwy morskie bawiące się w wodzie, no i oczywiście góry lodowe odpływające od ściany lodu, do której się zbliżaliśmy. Ponton opuścił prom, pędząc do przodu, by zebrać kawałki lodu do baru. Zrobliśmy mnóstwo zdjęć.

Tułając się po Amerykach. Piątek, 29 stycznia 2010. Cosquin to małe miasteczko, położone od Cordoby o jakąś godzinę jazdy miejscowym autobusem. Przyjechaliśmy tu z powodu festiwalu, o którym powiadomiła nas poznana w hostelu szwedzka para. Szwedzi byli całkowicie zauroczeni ujrzanymi tam tańcami oraz poświęconym im, jako obcokrajowcom, zainteresowaniem. Zdecydowaliśmy, że nie zaszkodzi zobaczyć, jak wygląda miasteczko. Dotarliśmy do Cosquin około 16-tej i zajęło nam chwilę znalezienie centrum zabawy.
