http://www.snapshotsfromourjourney.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Snapshots From Our Journey. Begin With Prayer. End With Action. Books That've Helped Us. Ways To Be Involved. My To Read List. Books That Impacted My Faith. Monday, December 29, 2014. He said, "Yes." And that simple, three-lettered answer changed all of our lives. And he would. Of course, he would say many, many more times that he wanted to return to Ukraine long before he really ever got a love for the place he was now. Cava has been a gift. My answer was an emphatic, "YES! Selfie taken by Cava of he an...

Snapshots From Our Journey. Begin With Prayer. End With Action. Books That've Helped Us. Ways To Be Involved. My To Read List. Books That Impacted My Faith. Saturday, July 25, 2015. For anyone who's read this blog for any time now knows, one of my all-time favorite books is To Kill a Mockingbird. How would I feel if I suddenly discovered they were racist? Uncertain of my understanding of them. It would shatter and shake my idealzation of them. Entitled Go Set a Watchman. To Kill a Mockingbird. Is about J...

Snapshots From Our Journey. Begin With Prayer. End With Action. Books That've Helped Us. Ways To Be Involved. My To Read List. Books That Impacted My Faith. Tuesday, January 27, 2015. Here is what he wrote:. Cava woke up and got dressed in his nice clothes. "Don't get your clothes messy," the care giver told him. "You want to look nice for the family coming to visit you today." Cava was nervous and excited because no one had ever come to visit him before. What if they didn't like him? Links to this post.

Snapshots From Our Journey. Begin With Prayer. End With Action. Books That've Helped Us. Ways To Be Involved. My To Read List. Books That Impacted My Faith. Sunday, August 16, 2015. Cava and The Raptors. It was only about a 30 minute drive from our house but that wasn't close enough for Cava. You would've thought we were going to Disney World again. Once we had our tickets, he forgot about wanting to spend his money and was ready to see some raptors. Would you look at that! After making our way along the...

Tuesday, June 30. I haven't blogged in over a week! We have been busy enjoying SUMMER! Sleeping late.beach time. free movie theater days. the library. so much to do! But here is the main reason I have been off the computer. Yup my sweet nephews Isaac and Lucas were down visiting last week. So what have you all been up to?
The Extraordinary Ordinary: Fun Friday!!
http://babyblevins08.blogspot.com/2015/08/fun-friday.html
Friday, August 14. It is birthday party weekend for Madeline and Little Heart and all their favorite out-of-towners arrived last night and today. I had plenty to get done yet this morning so Opa and Oma took the girls out for breakfast and then around Southport. Pretty sure they had a blast! I got a TON of cleaning and errands done without the kiddos and again remembered why I get jealous of those with family members right across town from them. Five hours is just NOT close enough. Too bad it's sails wer...
The Extraordinary Ordinary: California: Final Day
http://babyblevins08.blogspot.com/2015/08/california-final-day.html
Monday, August 3. Our final day, Sunday, we spent in Napa Valley. Napa is huge and you can research wineries for weeks and still not know where to go. The best advice I was given was to go to the Visitor's Center because the people who work there are extremely knowledgeable and want to help people. And this was 100% true. We got all sorts of advice, maps, coupons, and overall friendliness. Great way to start the day. I am not a big complainer by nature, but if I spend good money on something and customer...
The Extraordinary Ordinary: Little Heart's Birthday Eve
http://babyblevins08.blogspot.com/2015/08/little-heart-birthday-eve.html
Sunday, August 9. Little Hearts Birthday Eve. I wish I knew more. I wish I had a picture from the day, I wish I knew what her birth was like, I wish I knew what her mom first whispered in her precious little ears or what she thought when she saw her breathtakingly beautiful eyes. Was she a good sleeper? Did she like being swaddled? As completely unrealistic as it sounds, I just wish I could have somehow been there. God gave me you! I love you Little Heart and am blessed to celebrate LIFE with you!

Bringing Our Warrior Home. Monday, September 1, 2014. I've been wanting to blog about books that I have read for a long time. Bringing Our Warrior Home. Wednesday, September 25, 2013. I have sat at my computer many times and tried to write this blog post only to either delete my words or just walk away. In short, beyond HARD! Bringing Our Warrior Home" - Warrior leaving court. You will always hold a special place in our hearts and family. I kno...

Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Photographed and posted by. The silly thing wouldn't ever come to the other. Side of the feeder. And sadly, the feeder was placed in such a location as I could not get a good picture from the other side. Ah well, the little things hardly ever co-operate anyhow. What did you think? Tuesday, April 16, 2013. For those who don't realize, we are on the edge of a huge change in our lives. We are moving a thousand miles away to a city we've only been to once (Omaha, NE) to start law school. Cue panic. See, here is my problem. I'm too comfortable. In my home. In my church. With my friends. With the status quo. And so of course, everything is changing. Wish me luck. I don't like being crunched. Wednesday, April 3, 2013. You see, I look DRASTICALLY different than I did in college. I was...

snapshots from stephanie joy | learning to live life abundantly
Snapshots from stephanie joy. Learning to live life abundantly. June 3, 2014. I made a sign for my room this week. I think it’s laughing at me. My heart yearns for adventure. My eyes want a fresh view, a novel experience, something that takes my breath away. Untouchable beauty. Something to remind me that I’m alive. I came home hoping for adventure in a new place. But what happens when things don’t happen the way I expect? I pout. I feel sorry for myself. I want adventure. My adventure. A few years ago, ...

I now find myself not only moving again, I've uprooting my whole lifestyle and view of the future. Come on over. It's rather nice. And yes - it IS a dry heat! From the chee...
