Guinea's Blog: July 2007
http://guineasblog.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 31 July 2007. Today I was writing my post when the missus popped in the study for a quick chat. She saw Guinea's Blog written at the top and said, "You have a blog"? She was a bit surprised. When I started this diary I didn't know where it would go, whether it would be a help or a hindrance, or whether I would every reveal who I was. So I kept it a secret. Only one person I know in real life knows it exists, and he's in Australia. Day Eighty Four. weigh in. I left earlier than I would have liked...

Guinea's Blog: August 2007
http://guineasblog.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Friday, 31 August 2007. Day One Hundred and Fifteen. It's the end of the week, and what a week it's been. Monday's long drive from Scotland wasn't much fun, but since then it's got better and better. The diet was good this week too. Lots of water has been drunk and I've been on the bike every day except thursday. It will be interesting to see how this is reflected in next week's loss. So far, the more active I am the less I lose. I've no idea why, but I'm hoping this week bucks the trend. I had a great c...

Guinea's Blog: September 2007
http://guineasblog.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, 23 September 2007. Day One Hundred and Thirty Eight. First thing this morning I went to B Q to pick up a file. This was the last tool I needed before attacking my kayak. I decided to install my fish finder today. I connected up the battery and lo and behold it worked straight away. Of course I will not know if the sonar works until I get it on the water, but the map showed me where I was, so the GPS works. Here's the shot from sitting in the kayak. Day One Hundred and Thirty Seven. I also have no...

Last Chance Saloon: April 2007
http://fatkaren.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, 12 April 2007. Ladies - thank you SO much for your words of encouragement. The main reason I've not been posting is because they've barred all the blogging sites at work and my broadband at home has been playing up! Anyway.I gained one pound in my off days but I'm back on the programme now and trying to stay good as well as sane. I hope you're all doing well fellow LLers. Sunday, 1 April 2007. Day 12 - there's no hope for me. What a crap weekend I've had! Not a great day for me :-(. I'm a 34 ye...

Guinea's Blog: November 2007
http://guineasblog.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, 25 November 2007. Day Two Hundred and One. It is possible that my first meal could be some turkey on Christmas Day. Looking at myself now, although I have a gut, it's small and needs toned more than anything else. My face, chest, arms and legs do not need to get any thinner, just my bum and belly. Using the BMI calculator on the Lighterlife website I now have a BMI of 25.14. All I have to do now is lose one more pound and I am healthy. I now have a BMI below the UK average of 25.4. After my laps ...

Last Chance Saloon: Day 7 part 2
http://fatkaren.blogspot.com/2007/03/day-7-part-2.html
Tuesday, 27 March 2007. Day 7 part 2. I went with my mum to her first Cambridge Diet appointment - v different to the LL session. No counselling - just handing over the food packs, paying for them, getting weighed and measured and out the door! I think this will be ok for her because she's not one for group activities and she only has 1.5 stones to lose so I guess it won't take her too long. When I think of all the gorgeous shoes I've sold on ebay because they were a bit small for me - ahhhh! Day 7 part 2.

Last Chance Saloon: Day 9
http://fatkaren.blogspot.com/2007/03/day-9.html
Thursday, 29 March 2007. Today is a good day. My two year old daughter made me an easter basket at nursery, filled with chocolate eggs. What did I do with them? I gave her a couple and threw the rest in the bin. Feeling very saintly right now :-). I'm going to go to the pop in session on saturday because I NEED to swap my nut (using the term loosely, there) bar for something else. I've had two toffee ones and although there are too sweet, they're something almost edible which I can CHEW! Only joking - I'...

Last Chance Saloon: Day 7 - weigh in result
http://fatkaren.blogspot.com/2007/03/day-7-weigh-in-result.html
Tuesday, 27 March 2007. Day 7 - weigh in result. I'm over the moon with that after my lapse on Sunday. Over the moon as well as relieved :-) I'm really motivated to do this plan and can't wait for the day I'll finally be happy with my weight. We did the exercise where you had to say what kind of animal, colour, vehicle, famous person you felt like. I said I felt like a jellyfish - wobbly, out of shape and all over the place. The LLC said 'do you also feel like people shouldn't touch you, too? Hiya bout y...
