Congratulations to our 2015-2017 Scholarship Recipients! What makes a Dreamer? Courage. Determination. Persistence. Heart. In 1988, 67 students entering 7th grade in a dysfunctional, public junior high school in the violent, drug-filled Anacostia community of Washington, DC became part of a stay-in-school program, “I Have a Dream”, earning the title “Dreamers.” To learn more about the Original Dreamers and the “I have a Dream” program, visit southeast67.com. Meet our 2015-2017 Scholarship Recipients.
