Teacher, Mommy, U2 Fan. Summer stretching on the grass. Summer dresses pass…. Summer vacation provides teachers with time to rest and recharge. It gives us time to read and travel, attend conferences and take classes. Sadly, many teachers I know work at extra jobs over the summer or teach summer school to supplement our ridiculously low incomes. One of these days, I probably will too but not just yet. Friday, 13 January 2017. Sarah Plain and Tall Interactive Quilt. My 3rd grader has recently finished reading Sarah Plain and Tall. He really loved the book, as a go along activity he worked on an interactive quilt. You can grab this resources here on TPT. He worked on one piece each day. I don't have pictures of him working on the quilt, it was a fairly simple. Once it was complete he was really proud of his work. His favorite part was assembling all the pieces and adding details.
