http://steveandsarathompson.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 31, 2014. Two weeks ago, Steve took his paternity leave. It was a stay-cation of sorts. We made a massive to-do list, (odd jobs around the house, errands, and fun family activities) and we worked our way through the list. One thing we did (multiple times) was visit local pumpkin patches! My favorite time of the year! Wednesday, October 15, 2014. This is how our other kids get to watch Dallas in the baby swing - from a few feet away. Sunday, October 12, 2014. Friday, October 10, 2014.

Thompsons: February 2015
http://steveandsarathompson.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 8, 2015. Last month we had some warmer days. So one day, I sent the two big kids to play in the backyard while I worked in the kitchen. They had all sorts of fun: playing with rocks, "painting" the house with dirt, digging holes around the base of a tree, and enjoying their toys that had been put away for the last few months. As I checked on them at one point, this is what I saw happening:. Keeping it Real - January Edition. She loves being a Sunbeam. Best buds with Papa. By Friday, the ...

Thompsons: June 2014
http://steveandsarathompson.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 20, 2014. Father's Day / Photo Dump. For Father's Day this year, we started off by taking Steve out for breakfast. Then he got to go camping with a friend. Seeing this view makes his heart happy. We also had my parents in town for the weekend. Mom made a special coconut cake for Father's Day - so we sang and let the men each blow out their own candle. Then Steve and I had a Father's Day date night: bowling! We hadn't been in such a long time. And here's what else we've been up to lately:.

Thompsons: June 2015
http://steveandsarathompson.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 23, 2015. Last month, our ward held a primary talent show. Ellie was pretty excited to attend for her first time ever. She even wanted to play a song on the piano! So, she learned a song called "Three Little Pigs". She practiced and practiced and was ready to go. She also practiced an act with her Sunbeam class as each primary class was scheduled to perform during the talent show. Something happened to Ellie that night (that weekend, actually). She was uncharacteristically shy! 1) I have a ...

Thompsons: November 2014
http://steveandsarathompson.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 16, 2014. These little ones of ours are full of personality. Steve snapped some photos recently that simply show the essence of who they are. Hunter does everything Ellie does. Hunter loves flipping through scriptures; any he can get his hands on. He can get his hands on, including my. Books They are so fun. And he enjoys reading in lots of different locations. Reading with a buddy is fun too. Careful concentration of The Friend magazine. And then there's Dallas:. He's winking at me!

Thompsons: SNCP Reunion
http://steveandsarathompson.blogspot.com/2015/07/sncp-reunion.html
Tuesday, July 14, 2015. For the SNCP reunion, we took a trip to Sturgis, South Dakota. Some of the highlights included:. Meeting up with the Wuehlers in Sioux Falls to caravan the rest of the way together. The kids (and adults) had great fun switching up cars (I spent most of the drive with Danika in her car, her husband Brent drove with Steve in our van, and our kids swapped back and forth between cars at every stop). Bear Country USA: My kids are still. We finally convinced her these are different.

Thompsons: December 2014
http://steveandsarathompson.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 30, 2014. We love spending Christmas with family. This year we were at my parents' house along with my brother Jake. A fun tradition is to have the adults do presents on Christmas Eve night after the kids are in bed. We can take our time and keep the focus on taking turns opening and enjoying gifts. Then Christmas morning is all about the kids. It works out well! We didn't take too many pictures Christmas Eve night, but here are two:. Steve in his Superman Snuggie from the kids. We made...

Thompsons: March 2015
http://steveandsarathompson.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 19, 2015. A date A holiday A nice day. These two had a date the other day. Steve was excited to take Ellie to Chick-Fil-A. Ellie was excited to "eat at a restaurant" and play at the play-place; she also loved getting ice cream afterwards. The kids and I had great fun on St. Patrick's Day. We visited the library for cookie decorating - vanilla wafers, frosting and sprinkles. Then we headed to IHOP for lunch. Since we were all wearing green, we each got a free stack of pancakes! Ellie got i...

Sunday, May 31, 2015. A few days before Ellie's birthday, Steve asked her out on a date. They decided to go out the day after her birthday. This girl had a special birthday! Happy Birthday to this little lady! Ellie was excited to wake up to find her room full of balloons. All ready for a day of fun and wearing her new outfit.
