When you live in Massachusetts, you live for the summer months of June-August because, come September, the weather will be starting to cool down and Fall will be making it's appearance. I was so anxious for summer this year after surviving our first winter in MA. Mar 22, 2015. The OTHER Big News. We announced on St. Patrick's Day last week that we are expecting Baby GIRL Scurlock #2 in August 2015! Baby girl is due August 26th, so we will be having our second summer baby. AND my sister-in-law Kristin is due with her first, a boy, just two days before me. So exciting! Dec 19, 2014. Ryan had the absolute pleasure of meeting "mall Santa" yesterday. It was an impromptu visit with Santa. We had planned to go this weekend with Josh, but I was at the mall with some girlfriends yesterday and one of them was taking her daughter to see Santa, Ryan was dressed in somewhat Christmasy attire, we were waiting in line with them anyway, and Josh said go for it. So obviously her July 4th was made. I said "Show me your Poccle! I hope everyone had a fun and safe holiday. After deep sea fishing in the morning, we headed down to the national stadium with some friends to check out the celebration. It was definitely different than Independence Day celebrations back home, but fun to be a part of! Here's to 38 years of freedom! These guys were rolling down the street when we pulled up to the stadium. But a great way to recognize the officers. Cute kids recreating the flag.

Sean * Amberlea * Beckham. Tuesday, June 14, 2011. Beckham has recently decided that it's ok to smile when he's wide awake, and not just when he's starting to fall asleep. We love it! On Saturday there was a Regatta down in Durham so we decided to head down and check it out for a bit. Durham is just about a 15 minute train ride from us so it was a nice, quick day trip. There is also a really pretty cathedral and castle that we went and saw. Views of both the castle and cathedral. Sean got some great pics!
