Carrie's Book Blog: May 2010
http://carriesreads.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 18, 2010. The Secret Life of Bees. One of my beach reads was "The Secret Life of Bees" by Sue Monk Kidd. I read it indoors and also worked on "The Phantom Tollbooth." I didn't finish either one at the beach.couldn't believe how busy we were! But, this book was in my "indoor" bag when I got home so I finished it first. Can't wait to see the movie now! Carrie's Book Blog: July 2010
http://carriesreads.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 21, 2010. Catch Up Reviews (Rahab, Ruth, Phantom, and Dickens). Tons of reading.a lot of reviews. Firstmy most recent read.and my first completely on Kindle.because it was free and immediate access. I thought I had read this in school, but I think it must have been just an excerpt because I had no clue what was going to happen the entire time. Yes, I know, how can a 29 year old not know the story of Pip and Estella and Miss Havisham? Then, last week we discussed story three. It is suppose...

Monday, August 3, 2009. How does your garden grow? We tried our hand at a garden this year. Marc did most (all) of the preliminary. Work It rained so much this year we were late getting it started. He tilled the area 4-5 times! Of course, we had to start from scratch. We planted carrots, broccoli, okra, zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes. Purple peas, corn, cantaloupe. We have had success with some things and failures with others. Okra, peas, cucumbers, cantaloupes. Your costumes were ALL awesome!

Carrie's Book Blog: Two Reviews
http://carriesreads.blogspot.com/2010/04/two-reviews.html
Sunday, April 25, 2010. I haven't been doing much reading for my book challenges lately. I have mainly been reading my book club selection, and picking up random titles from the library. I read these two books over the past week and a half or so. Cold Sassy Tree, by Olive Ann Burns. On that day, fourteen year old Will Tweedy's adventures began and an unimpeachably pious, deliciously irreverent town came to life.". I enjoyed reading this again! A Woman's Place," by Lynn Austin. I am pretty sure I have pic...

All You Need is Love: My Shield of Faith
http://alluneedizlove.blogspot.com/2011/05/my-shield-of-faith.html
Tuesday, May 24, 2011. My Shield of Faith. Our desire to add a third baby to the family began several years ago. It took some convincing, but Corey finally agreed.well.I'll say. relented. In 2009. We had wonderful perfect plans of how and when it would fit into our timeline. We had two babies of happy accident fame, so never did we anticipate the fact that years and circumstances would change. Yet, God moved in our lives and she lived inside me. She thrived. And now, we have seen faith realized. Of thing...
