Coming up the long hill on Highland. Waiting in the rain at the finish line. Coming in for the finish (that blue blur). Wednesday, September 10, 2014. We visited the classroom and teacher together Monday. Kate stays for an hour and a half today. Friday is the first full 3-hour morning. Tuesday, September 2, 2014. Off to first grade.

We were supposed to drive to Syracuse a few days ago to meet the Johnsons, swim in the hotel pool and bounce on trampolines at SkyZone. The place looks empty here - just Molly and Kate - but really it was packed with people. It's just that the little kid section cleared out toward the end of our session. Glad you made it. Did they have fun? Well do it again sometime. when there is NO snow!

Hugging him a little tighter. December 18, 2012 · Filed under children. We had plans for tonight. Sure they were nothing big; cuddle on the couch eating mince pies, drinking eggnog and watching a DVD, but they were plans. Instead our son pulled one his rare screaming fits which lasted from 7pm through to 10pm and just refused to sleep. Goodbye lovely evening, hello frustration and feelings of incompetence. We are so lucky to have him, I will be thinking about just how lucky a lot over the next few weeks.
