Living with Cancer by Roger. Roger was born in 1959 into a military family. As a result of his father being transferred to a new duty assignment every few years, growing up Roger did not live in the same city for more than 5 years until after he was an adult. Roger believes that working is important to the male sense of worth so when he and his wife returned to San Jose he took a job as a Security Guard so that he would have an income, no matter how small, and have exercise also.
