I think I've finally understood one of the mysteries of being a mother. It's the trait that young people can't understand as they grow up and become independent - why their mother can't let go, can't let their babies grow up. I am wishing that i didn't have to live life in chronological order. imagine if you woke up every day not knowing what part of your life that day would come from. i could wake up with butterflies in my stomach and think "fantastic - i must be just falling in love with mr.
