When does learning start? | anna
https://psua0b.wordpress.com/2012/03/09/when-does-learning-start
When does learning start? What age does learning start? Well it may seem like a silly question as some would say from birth. However when it comes to schooling and education, is there a right time to start learning? So does anyway get a say in when learning starts? It seems there are certain factors in early learning that have more of an influence than others and this evidence also draws attention to the importance of early learning on later life. 5 thoughts on “ When does learning start? Looking back, again. I have spent so much more time researching education and the issues that are prevalent and it has encouraged me to think outside the box and continue looking in my own time outside of blogging and commenting. Like this blog, the module made me reflect on my own education and what I knew of others educational experience and really made me look at different into topics from different angles. We’ve come a long long way…. With these newer technologies teachers are able to use as aids, for example to present in lectures, to allow interactive learning techniques. The use of these technologies is more commonly seen in the younger teachers classroom too. 47%. 6 thoughts on “ We’ve come a long long way…. 19/02/2012 at 6:23 pm. What is work experience actually worth? | anna
https://psua0b.wordpress.com/2012/03/02/what-is-work-experience-actually-worth
What is work experience actually worth? My work experience was an additional part of traditional learning with the aim to provide me with some knowledge and understanding of employment and the skills required. It consisted of one week sitting in a primary school classroom, watching the teacher go through lessons before standing in the playground being hounded by 6 year olds to join in their games. I can honestly say I learnt little from this so-called work experience. 03/03/2012 at 10:42 am. So I think w...

Psychology of Education Blog. From Theory to Practice. During our degree we are taught a number of different theories to do with Psychology, we are taught these because we need the knowledge to implement theories into practice in the future with effectiveness and confidence. One of the biggest problems we come up against is how we successfully make the transition from theory to practice. So why not just make sure all of our classes adopt active learning? Masters Graduate in Clinical Psychology. What I have learnt…. April 11, 2011. At the beginning of semester, I was very sceptical and also curious about how this module was going to be successful. I was also a little confused, that a whole module can only be graded and based on BLOGs and BLOGs alone…no exams, no assignments – what was the catch? I would most definitely suggest this module to future third year students and I hope I come across similar teaching techniques in my future within education.

Not only has it taught me lots interesting things about psychology in education, and things you wouldn’t hear in a lecture theatre, it has also made me realise a lot more:.
